IF  - Customer can turn a room temperature down when I don't need it will that pay for the expense
Else - You can adjust a room by needs to set a bathroom temperature higher in the morning and not the same as the bedroom
Example domestic hot water 
Pro - Instant Hot water for faucet and showers 
Con - Extra insulation for all domestic hot water lines are needed cost more money in the construction 
IF  - Customer can set a timer so the hot water is cycled through the lines before they start the day
Else -  Can work together with a timer on a water heater
Example flooring
Pro - Cork flooring in kitchen and bathrooms features natural warmth to the touch.
Con - Cost more money in the construction floors may need to be resealed 
IF  - People and pets like the feel and look of cork floors
Else - It is renewable cork trees are not cut down the bark  is peeled off and grows back.
Example day lighting 
Pro - Day lighting is a way to stay in touch with the outside
Con - Cost more money in the construction 
IF  -  Daylighting improves the rooms atmosphere you don't have to use regular electrical lights in dark areas
Else - helps avoid unnecessary cost due to extra air conditioning to compensate for hot light fixtures
